Rinko Kikuchi is an international actress. She has been getting a lot of attention since her break through performance in “Babel”, playing a deaf-mute teenager in 2006 which landed her a Academy Award nomination. She was the first Japanese actress to be nominated for an Oscar in 50 years.
We sat down with her for an exclusive interview and talked about her new film “Norwegian Wood”, a Japanese film version of Haruki Murakami’s best selling novel. Through our interview, we found out that she was quite an interesting person.
